In 1910 Heleni Giokarini established the first ouzo-distillery in Samos, producing ouzo which was known as the “Widow’s Ouzo.” The Giokarini family has been producing their ouzo for three generations. A selection of pure local ingredients which are distilled in a traditional copper still.
