Our aim is to blend these two worlds with RUMRYE, creating a spirit that is a 50/50 split between rum and rye whiskey, showcasing both spirits side by side and creating a new category.
The Ron Colón Salvadoreño Rum used for RumRye is a special blend with a complex flavor profile. It includes a six-year-old Salvadoran rum from the Licorera Cihuatán distillery as well as aged and unaged pot still rums from the Jamaican distilleries Worthy Park Estate, Monymusk and Hampden. A unique flavor profile was created by combining column still rums from El Salvador and pot still rums from Jamaica.
The whiskey in RumRye is a four year old American Straight 100% Rye Whisky. It is aged in charred and untopped oak casks, giving it a complex and powerful body, with a honeyed texture, floral notes and hints of mint.
