Timmer is the Swedish word for Timber.

There was a time when Ångermanälven, the mighty river that runs past our distillery, was used for the harsh and dangerous work of log-driving and crammed full of floating timber.

Timmer is our peated whisky and our humble tribute to the men and women who once lived and worked here. Those who risked their lives fighting icy cold waters as they steered the heavy logs downstream.
