Common Ground Spirits was founded in 2020 by Julian Peebles and Tory Brown, successful tech industry professionals with a passion for spirits. The company mission is to encourage conversations over spirits that foster common ground – those moments that help us realize we have more in common than we have differences.

Black Currant & Thyme is rooted in a love of food and cooking and boasts a savory profile. There are vivid notes of citrus on the nose, dried fruit and herbs on the palate, with a nice lingering finish of citrus and peppercorn. When creating this expression the founders used everyday botanicals and leveraged their flavor profiles to deliver a dynamic taste experience. This gin is ideal in a gin and tonic or negroni, and can also be highlighted in cocktails that creatively incorporate citrus, herbs, or spice.
