In partnership, we have hand selected single barrel(s) of extra anejo tequila, finished in various cask types.
All the barrels we use in the Campo Azul aging process were previously used to age American
bourbon or whisky for at least 8 years. These barrels are made from American white oak, and before we use
them at Campo Azul, we restore them in order to obtain the best results. Campo Azul aged (reposado) is aged for 8 months while Campo Azul extra-aged (añejo) is aged for 14 months.
