We started by selecting and blending barrels from 1995 with a specific flavor profile. We then selected and blended barrels for the nine subsequent years, each with their own flavor contributions forming a spectrum of nuanced variations over a decade.
By artfully layering these barrels through our singular blending process and drawing on the subtle differences between the barrels we created a whiskey that offers a smooth, refined experience with a depth of character. The secondary maturation in Kentucky in Spanish brandy and Hungarian oak casks enriched the blend with layers of complexity – lush, syrupy fruit notes from
the Spanish brandy casks.
Tasting Notes: A rich and complex flavor profile with notes of vanilla, caramel with hints of dried fruits like raisins and figs from the Spanish brandy casks. The Hungarian oak barrels impart subtle, complex textures from the finer tannins resulting in a smoother, silkier texture and elegant flavor.
