The brandy is distilled from ripe aromatic Swiss Williams pears, from the Canton of Valais region. The pear distillate first rests in stainless steel tanks for at least two years. It is then oak aged for 14-18 months. After it reaches maturity, the distillate is further refined with our home-made Bonificateur. This fine dosage, together with the wood maturation, gives this fruit brandy its unique and intense aroma and a subtle sweetness with an almond note.
Color: brilliant gold
Nose: fully ripe Williams pear with hints of candied fruit and creme caramel. Light wood and honey notes in the background. Like a freshly prepared fruit salad with juicy honeydew melon.
Palate: delicious and juicy on the palate with a pronounced pear aroma, followed by vanilla ice cream, hazelnut, and meringues.
Finish: it develops a delicate and fruity sweetness, and a long lasting finish.
