Carrera Tequila has been dedicated to perfecting the art of tequila for over 15 years. We cook 6 - 8 year old mature agave in a brick oven for approximately 24 hours and allow 30 hours for it to rest. All tequilas are double distilled in stainless steel pot stills with copper. The aged tequilas are kept in a combination of barrels: 30% new American oak, 20% used bourbon barrels, and 50% used tequila barrels.
With its light golden glow the reposado has a soft vanilla aroma with cooked agave and bananas. The palate is up front with vanilla followed by more agave on the finish.
