This apricot brandy is made from the old apricot variety Royal Luizet. These high-quality sweet and aromatic Swiss apricots grow in the Canton of Valais region, and are hand picked exactly at the perfect time.
The apricot distillate first rests in stainless steel tanks for at least two years. It is then oak aged for 14-18 months. After it reaches maturity, the distillate is further refined with our home-made Bonificateur. This together with wood maturation, gives this fruit brandy its unique and intense aroma and a subtle sweetness with a very fine almond note.
Appearance - brilliant gold
Aroma - notes of fine fresh fruit and pickled apricots with a subtle touch of almonds and hints of vanilla cream followed by blossom honey and exotic fruits
Palate - notes of apricot jam and apricot sauce, subtle aromas of milk chocolate, Christmas biscuits with cinnamon, and dried orange peel
Finish - delicate and slightly peppery
