The coffee is a dark profile, medium bitter amaro. Coffee is central to the palate, but doesn't overwhelm the classic amaro backbone. Citrus peel, cinchona bark and raw cacao all work together to create a bitter but approachable finish. Cascara, the husk of the coffee bean, lends earthy tea notes throughout the drink.
